Discovery
It starts with obsessive research. We scan trade shows, independent makers, and trusted manufacturers across the globe — always looking for products that combine timeless design with genuine functionality. Most of what we find doesn't make it past this stage.
The Parent Test
Every product that catches our eye goes through what we call the parent test. Would we put this in our own nursery? Would we trust it with our own child? If there's any hesitation, it's a no. We're parents first, curators second.
Safety & Materials
We dig into the details — certifications, lab reports, material sourcing, manufacturing processes. We verify CPSC compliance, check for harmful substances, and confirm that every material is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin.
The Final Edit
Even after passing every check, a product still needs to earn its place. We ask: does it fit the Baby Sessions aesthetic? Does it fill a genuine need? Does it offer something our customers can't easily find elsewhere? Only then does it join the collection.
If we wouldn't use it for our own children, it doesn't make the cut.
